It’s always interesting looking back on these lists and seeing just how much time I have wasted on mediocre movies. While I am at work I always daydream about new intellectual pursuits, 52 weeks of classic films!, Hitchcock marathons!, Finally watching the Decalogue! But when I get home, all my time disappears and I never accomplish anything.

Seriously fucked up, I buy the political allegory aspect of the movie the way that Salo is a political allegory, but holy crap is this a difficult movie to watch. Also, any reviewer who gushes over how great/subversive this movie is without mentioning the political allegory aspect, well it makes them sound like sociopaths/sick motherfuckers.
