boring travelers
it clicked with me why I haven’t been a huge fan of all-inclusives while at the same time liking the idea in theory. This cruise thing about virgin voyages cruises talks about how this cruise ship (line?) Has a concept of small venues on a large ship to offer a lot of variety. This also is reflected in the restaurants where there isn’t a central dining room but instead a bunch of different restaurants you cycle through. The biggest complaint is customers wanting “simple” food not “adventurous” food. This is why all of these places seem so bland, they’re catering to the lowest common denominator. I’m curious if maybe this virgin cruise is any good because it’s catering to my ideas of adventure a bunch of different options to explore
